The Fund for Innovations in Culture will continue to grow thanks to a project funded by the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation.

The technological progress is changing the way business, local government, consumers and community work and interact. Through the Fund for Innovations, Sofia takes the responsibility to encourage innovative local initiatives and pilot projects that have urban applicability, create new synergies and opportunities for development. The Fund will provide financial support for creative ideas and concepts that would otherwise be attracted to other European cities. The Fund and the participation of Sofia Municipality in it is a way for local government to keep its focus on innovation and seek solutions on how to use the limited resources in order to turn Sofia into a more attractive city with more business and social opportunities.
