On 17 June 2015 (Wednesday) at 11:00 o'clock, Derby Foundation held a press conference on the "Animated Squares - Expected Results" project. The event was held in the Derby Multimedia Centre at 4 Sveta Nedelya Square, Sofia.
"Animated squares" is a joint project of Derby Foundation and the National Professional School of Printing and Photography, which aims to create a multimedia advertising product on the occasion of the Day of Sofia - 17 September. The project is implemented with the financial support of Sofia Municipality Europe Programme under Priority Area 3: Promoting smart and sustainable urban development through the strengthening of innovative activities in the public sector, carried out in cooperation among citizens, public organizations and local government.
Mrs. Bistra Ilieva - project manager and manager of Derby Foundation - welcomed the guests and participants in the initiative - students at NPSPP in the city of Sofia. The event was attended by Svetlana Lomeva - Director of Sofia Development Association, Mihail Vladov - municipal councilor, Sofia Municipal Council, Nadezhda Angelska - main coordinator of Europe Programme, Irina Toleva - coordinator at Sofia Development Association, journalists, students and employees of Derby Consulting House.
The project activities were presented by Sevdalina Ivanova – expert at Derby Foundation. Georgi Shushkov - photographer, cameraman and trainer under the project, spoke about the way, the aim and the realization of the idea.
